I just read about a guy called Jeff Rose who has a credit score of 780, which in itself is pretty darned good , but wants to get over 800. The difference to his finances when he goes from 780 to 800 will not be much at all, if anything, he won’t get any cheaper loans or be given a gold watch by his credit card company.
It seems to be that he may be pushing this for personal reasons, or maybe he is just looking to get some press coverage for his company. One thing in the report that amazed me was the statement that 36 million Americans have a credit score of 800+. Everytime I watch the news it is all doom and gloom and everyone is broke. Well clearly some people have still got money!
